Ben Silbermann grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and went to Roosevelt High School. He then moved across the country twice: first to Connecticut and then to California to work for Google. Two years ago he founded Pinterest with his friends Paul Sciarra and Evan Sharp. Pinterest lets you organize and share your Favorited things by pinning them onto virtual pin boards. Millions of people use Pinterest to discover recipes to cook, products to buy, and places to visit. Pinterest is funded by some of Silicon Valley’s most successful entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.
